Since April 2020, the CLL Advocates Network is a member of WECAN, the Workgroup of European Cancer Patient Advocacy Networks, and informal workgroup of leaders of the 24 pan-European cancer patient umbrella organisations.

In March 2020, CLLAN recruited a professional Project Manager to support the day-to-day management of the network. The new Project Manager, Nicole Schröter, coordinates, manages and streamlines the Steering Committee’s (SC) operations, manages the communication among SC members and with existing and potential members, tracks and follows-up on action items, schedules and manages calls, meeting and events, manages projects in alignment with the objectives of the network, and fosters partnerships with other networks.

From 15 to 16 February 2020, the members of the CLLAN Steering Committee (SC)met for strategic planning and to align on priority projects, review & analyse past activities, review the progress of working groups and goals, and prepare upcoming projects.
The meeting was facilitated by external moderator Tamás Bereczky for whose support we are very grateful.
