CLL Horizons 2026

CLL Horizons 2026: Strength in Science, Power in Community

CLL Horizons 2026 will take place from 16–18 October 2026 at Meliá Barcelona Sky, Barcelona, Spain, under the theme “Strength in Science, Power in Community.” As CLLAN’s flagship international conference, CLL Horizons brings together CLL patient advocates, advocacy organisations, clinical experts, and partners from around the world to learn, share, and grow together.

What to Expect

CLL Horizons 2026 is designed to support patient advocates in strengthening their knowledge, skills, and confidence so they can better support people affected by CLL in their communities.

The agenda will focus on four key programme areas:

  • Advocacy that protects, support that empowers
  • Turning understanding into action
  • Every immune system deserves a fighting chance
  • Hope, health and hard science

Together, these areas will explore both medical and advocacy priorities, including disease-specific knowledge, patient-centred decision-making, access to care, sustainable advocacy, organisational development, and community support.

Medical and Advocacy Streams

The conference programme will include both medical and advocacy-focused sessions.

The medical stream will help participants develop and strengthen their understanding of CLL-related scientific and clinical topics, including the diversity of care and treatment challenges faced by patients around the world.

The advocacy stream will focus on building strong, sustainable patient organisations and equipping advocates with practical tools to support patients, influence decision-making, raise awareness, and contribute to improved access to care.

Best Practice and Poster Sessions

Networking and best practice sharing will be at the heart of CLL Horizons 2026.

Participants will have the opportunity to share successful projects, campaigns, lessons learned, and innovative initiatives through the Best Practice Session and Poster Session. These sessions are designed to encourage peer-to-peer learning, inspire practical action, and strengthen collaboration across the global CLL advocacy community.

Collaboration with the Clinical Community

CLL Horizons 2026 will take place in Barcelona alongside the ERIC International Meeting, which will be held from 15–17 October 2026. This timing creates valuable opportunities for exchange between the CLL clinical research and patient advocacy communities.

By aligning both meetings in the same city and timeframe, CLLAN and ERIC aim to share access to the best global faculty available for our sessions, strengthen dialogue between advocates and clinical experts, and support the development of collaborative initiatives that benefit people affected by CLL worldwide.

Our Purpose

CLL Horizons is built around a shared belief that the patient must remain at the centre of everything we do.

The conference aims to:

  • Empower and equip confident CLL advocates
  • Strengthen knowledge of CLL, care, treatment, and advocacy priorities
  • Encourage the exchange of best practices across countries and organisations
  • Support collaboration between advocates, clinicians, industry, and decision-makers
  • Identify global opportunities to improve patient advocacy and patient support
  • Build stronger, more sustainable patient organisations

Ultimately, CLL Horizons 2026 seeks to strengthen the global CLL advocacy community and contribute to better support, care, and outcomes for people affected by CLL around the world.

We look forward to welcoming you to Barcelona for an inspiring, practical, and community-focused CLL Horizons 2026.
