Visa Information for Spain
Participants are responsible for checking whether they require a visa to enter Spain. Visa requirements depend on the traveller’s nationality and country of residence.
Spain is part of the Schengen Area. Please check the official information on entry conditions for Spain and the list of countries whose nationals require a visa before travelling: Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs visa information.
If you require a visa to attend CLL Horizons 2026, you must complete your conference registration by 15 July 2026 using the registration link.
This early deadline is important because visa appointments and processing times can vary significantly. In some cases, securing an appointment may take several weeks, and Schengen visa processing may take between 20 and 60 calendar days.
Supporting Documents
Once your registration has been reviewed and approved, the CLL Horizons Team will provide supporting documents for your visa application, including:
- Flight itinerary
- Hotel confirmation
- Invitation letter from CLL Advocates Network / LePAF
We strongly encourage you to book your visa appointment and begin the application process as soon as you receive these documents. Starting early will help reduce the risk of delays and increase the likelihood that you can attend the conference without travel difficulties.
Please also ensure that your passport and travel documents are valid. We recommend checking that your passport is valid for at least six months from your travel date.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact the CLL Horizons Team at cllhz@clladvocates.net.
