Scope of organisation
Description
The Portuguese Leukaemia and Lymphoma Association is a non-profit IPSS, made up by patients and their families, carers, health professionals and volunteers. The strength of the APLL is all of us! Together We Are Stronger!
In our daily work we encourage and strengthen relationships between everyone, namely patients so that their trials can be overcome.
To be a community of national and international reference for patients, family members, carers, volunteers and health professionals. Created, with the aim of ensuring a greater quality of life, up-to-date information and care. Informed, supported patients will be better able to overcome the acute phase of their illness.
Our intervention is complemented with psychological and physical support to the community (patients, family members, carers…). The dissemination of ongoing research and innovation in different therapies is one of the aspects that we consider to be of great importance, which has been one of our concerns in recent years.
