Description

Hematon is the patient organisation for patients with a haematological-oncological disorder and/or people who have undergone a stem cell transplant. Their goal is to support patients in all aspects that life with and after cancer entails.

They also provide support for relatives and donors of patients. Companion contact, advocacy and information provision are their spearheads. Hematon bundles knowledge and experience. The organization therefore mainly consists of involved and (experiential) expert volunteers.

Hematon meets three needs in patients: knowing, sharing and meeting. “We make it possible for patients to share knowledge and experiences with each other and with experts and ensure meetings between patients.”
