Position Title: Project and Communications Support Specialist
Organization: CLL Advocates Network (CLLAN)
Reports to: Project Lead and CLLAN Chair (or designate)
Objective: Provide comprehensive communications, administrative, project,
and network management support to advance CLLAN’s advocacy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support project leads with administrative and coordination support including but not limited
to
o volunteer recruitment for working groups and focus groups
o meeting administration including slide preparation, feedback collection, and post-meeting
summaries
o content development and implementation for campaigns and stakeholder communications. - Collaborate on and execute communications strategy, including creating multi-channel materials
for social media, electronic direct mail newsletters and websites. - Deliver high quality communication through the development of annual social media plans aligned
with blood cancer awareness dates - Manage member relationships as first point of contact, engage and process membership
applications, and ensure profile currency on CLLAN channels. - Manage and deliver digital content through website, manage content currency and updates
(WordPress administration and advanced tasks like page creation), video editing and YouTube
maintenance, graphic design for visuals and print materials, Google Ads implementation, and
performance analytics using tools like Google Analytics. - Perform general administration, including
o event support and planning (webinars, in-person meetings, delegate management)
o email management
o Currency and maintenance of digital tool/subscription
o Collaboration, facilitation, and weekly sync calls with the Chair and project leads. - Manage data tasks such as financial record-keeping, expense tracking, budget preparation,
database maintenance (OneDrive, member lists), and reporting for steering committee meetings.

regarded service. You manage competing priorities well and communicate confidently within
multidisciplinary and multicultural environments.
Requirements: - Strong organizational, communication, and technical skills (e.g., WordPress, graphic design,
analytics tools). - Experience in project coordination.
- Experience in advocacy and/or non-profits a plus but not required.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a volunteer-driven network.
- High-level communication skills and a client-focused approach
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritise tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
Remuneration: Hourly rate (to be determined), with flexible hours based on project needs.
