Bekämpa LMC Ecuador is an Ecuadorian nonprofit organisation established in 2019. Created by patients and managed with the participation of patients and caregivers, the Foundation works to protect the rights and improve the well-being of people living with leukaemia and other cancers, as well as their families.
The organisation promotes timely access to healthcare services, diagnostic tests, medicines and appropriate treatments. It also responds to patients’ medical, emotional, social, practical and legal needs through education, advocacy, legal guidance, humanitarian assistance and ongoing support. Bekämpa LMC Ecuador has a partial focus on supporting people affected by CLL.
