EHA Patients Working Group

The CLL Advocates Network is one of currently 14 patient organisations the European Hematology Association (EHA) actively collaborates with and that are considered essential partners by EHA. Patient advocates are represented in EHA committees (e.g. European Affairs) and task forces, invited to speak at EHA events, and valuable partners in European projects. Patients are also responsible for organizing two Patient Advocacy Sessions at EHA’s Annual Congress. Where possible, EHA and patient organizations work together to advocate issues of common interest, such as personalized medicine or clinical trials regulation.

At least once a year, EHA invites patient organizations to meet and discuss current issues of common concern, exchange information, and develop joint projects.

CLLAN is represented within this group, with the goal to create awareness of the specific issues of CLL patients.
