CLL Advocates Network organises webinars and digital workshops to provide accessible, practical and up-to-date learning opportunities for people living with CLL, patient advocates and patient organisations around the world.
Our sessions bring together patients, advocates, healthcare professionals and other experts to share knowledge, exchange experiences and strengthen the capacity of the global CLL advocacy community.

- Patient involvement and shared decision-making;
- Quality of life and immune challenges;
- Patient advocacy and engagement;

- Practical tools and skills for patient organisations.

New EHA CLL Guidelines – Shaped with Patients, Explained for Patients
On 29 July 2026, CLL Advocates Network hosted a webinar exploring the new EHA CLL guidelines and what their recommendations mean in practice for people living with CLL.
Professor Anna Schuh, Professor of Haematology at the University of Oxford and co-author of the guidelines, explained the key recommendations covering diagnosis, active surveillance, genetic testing, treatment choices, relapse, supportive care and Richter transformation.
The webinar also featured a panel discussion moderated by Nick York, with patient advocates Pierre Aumont, Johannes Förner and Rita Christensen. The discussion addressed quality of life, patient empowerment, shared decision-making, communication with clinicians and the important role of patient organisations in making complex medical guidelines easier to understand.
