Kathryn joined CLL Advocates Network´s Steering Committee in April 2022. She has been a speaker and panellist at CLL Horizons meetings and has always maintained close ties to the network.
Kathryn has an extensive 24 year career in the supportive care of people facing a blood cancer and their carers. Her career began as an oncology nurse, before her support and leadership roles at the Leukaemia Foundation Australia.
Kathryn has post graduate studies in Health Management and currently leads a clinical digital health in children’s health.
For almost a decade Kathryn held leadership positions of the supportive care team at the Leukaemia Foundation, with her last role as the national General Manager of Health Services.
With heavy involvement in research and pilot programs within her roles, she has explored the unmet need and aspirations of those living with CLL. Trialling innovative support and program delivery to address this need and improve quality of life and outcomes for people living with CLL.
